Ryan C. Jones, Photographer and Owner
Ryan's photographic career begins on the other side of the camera. Working in
the photo department of a large drugstore, Ryan was curious about the pictures he
was processing and printing. The compositions, the colors, the stories. He decided
to try photography for himself.
As he learned and experimented with more advanced cameras, he was promoted to the
position of corporate photo department trainer for his company. But he continued to
explore photography and, after two years, Ryan left his corporate job to become a real,
honest-to-goodness professional photographer.
Drawing inspiration from geometry, light, and graphic design - as well as some less expected places like good music and philosophy (he holds a degree in philosophy from Fresno State) - Ryan celebrates the stories of everyone and everything he photographs.
When he isn't photographing stories throughout California and across the United States, Ryan lives and works in Downtown Fresno.
Derek Tipton, Associate Photographer
Derek works with Ryan when an event requires more than one photographer. With an artful eye and skilled technique, he is an accomplished photographer in his own right. Since 2010, he's been Ryan's most trusted second shooter. Derek holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Fresno State and lives with his wife in Fresno, California.
Marisa McBride, Office Manager
Although Marisa has little interest in the technical side of photography, she has been an indispensable part of the Ryan C. Jones family since 2009. As office manager, she handles the day-to-day activities to keep everything moving.
